Biscuit is a 1 year old male Domestic Short Hair black and white adult cat. Biscuit had been trying (unsuccessfully) to get in a convenience store in Lamesa seeking shelter from the cold January nights and mornings. Since most of the passersby ignored him, he also kept getting on car hoods to seek out the warmth of the engines. Luckily a fellow rescuer stopped in to get gas and inquired about him. Workers stated that had been there a few weeks and they feared for his safety. She was able to pick him up and put him in a carrier with no issues. Biscuit has taken very well to his new living quarters at the Rescue Center and especially loves his warm bed (which he rarely leaves). Biscuit can still be leary of new situations and people but once familiar, he can be very sweet. He has soaked up his new life with such gratitude and will make a super loyal pet. ( Other cats and dogs unknown at this time)
