The Museum of the Southwest will hold a community glass art project for youth to submit a hot air balloon design.

According to a report by NewsWest9, the project comes as a part of the museum's remodel of the Fredda Turner Durham Children’s Museum.

Individuals under the age of 18 are invited to submit a hot air balloon design for a chance to have it turned into a blown glass sculpture to be hung in the museum, the report states.

Ten designs will be chosen for Texas-based glass artist Simon Waranch. The children's museum is set to reopen this year, according to the station, and the winners and their families will be invited to the reopening.

Entrants may submit their design online after coloring in the printout available to participants and filling in the submission form by Feb. 11.
