Jersey Mike's donates sales to fight senior hunger | Midland Times

Senior Life Midland and Meals On Wheels Odessa are partnering with Jersey Mike’s Subs for the 15th Annual “Month of Giving” campaign to support local charities, according to Senior Life Midland.

Throughout March, customers at Midland and Odessa locations can round up their purchases or donate $1, $3, or $5 at checkout. A $5 in-store donation earns a free sub coupon for a future visit, according to Senior Life Midland.

“Jersey Mike’s is proud to partner with Senior Life Midland," said Damien Crawford, area manager. “Jersey Mike’s believes in giving for the sake of giving, not receiving! We enjoy working with Kathleen and Tracy and hope this year is bigger than last.”

The campaign culminates with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on March 26, when all sales—not just profits—will be donated to Wipe Out Senior Hunger. Franchise owners in Midland and Odessa will contribute all revenue from in-store, online, and app orders.

Jersey Mike’s hopes to exceed last year’s record-breaking $25 million raised nationwide for local charities. Since the Month of Giving began in 2011, the company has raised over $113 million.

"We value our partnership with Jersey Mike’s. They truly want to help end senior hunger in our area," said Kathleen Kirwan-Haynie, executive director for Senior Life Midland
