AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc. had its share of challenges in 2020 but holding fast on a commitment to expand its hospice footprint in its existing home health markets was not of them.
After closing three of its hospice acquisitions from October 2019 to June 2020, a total of four new hospice locations were opened up including one in Midland, Businesswire reported. Midland along with the other acquisitions will allow AngMar to support 36% of its home health geographies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not revealed.
“For over 20 years, the Angels Care brand has prided itself on offering the highest quality of skilled home health to people that struggle to leave their home and continue to have difficulty managing their chronic disease,” Mark Eddins, president of AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc, said. “Within the next two years, AngMar plans to have 100% of its home health markets supported with the hospice benefit in order to complete our vision of offering a continuum of care for the chronic diagnosed patient populations that reside within the communities we already serve.”
