Visitors who are planning to take up residence on campus should visit first to better find out about housing and dining options available to them, the university said in its post.
Current students, admissions counselors and other experts are great sources of information, the university said in its post. An on-campus admission counselor can answer questions about the application process, testing requirements (e.g., SAT, ACT, TSI), and how to apply for financial aid. Visitors can ask current students questions about the college experience, what they like about the campus, where to go for help and other questions.
Finally, visitors can better find information about the campus's academic offerings, the university said in its post. Prospective students who know what they want to study can determine if the school offers the major and classes they're interested in. Students who haven't chosen a major can learn about the different options the university provides to see if they can find a study that is interesting.
