The Midland Municipal Court recently made a post on its Facebook Page reminding visitors that it is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Visitors to the court are required to maintain social distancing and sanitation protocols in all public areas, the post said.

The court requires that only defendants or attorneys with official business appear and that all visitors wear face coverings.

Visitors are encouraged to review the online services at midlandmunicipalcourt.com to see what options may be available to them.

To decrease foot traffic, the court allows eligible defendants remote access to judges through the Zoom platform for virtual walk-in sessions court sessions, the post said.

Remote court sessions will be held Monday-Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. If they need to do so, defendants may submit documents or inquiries to court@midlandtexas.gov.

Visitors can receive more information by calling 432-685-7314.
