The City of Midland is requiring visitors to use clear, see-through bags for carrying any items into Grande Communications Stadium.
The policy covers all activities at the stadium, according to a Facebook post from the city.
All bags taken into the stadium must not only be see-through, but cannot exceed 12 inches squared by six inches thick, according to the post. One-gallon ziploc bags are given as an example of the types and size of bags that are permitted.
In addition to the see-through bags, the policy also permits visitors to carry a “clutch” sized bag proportional in size to a human hand, according to the post. The policy also permits exceptions to be made for any bag determined to be a medical necessity, though an inspection of the bag is still required.
The city also prohibits visitors from bringing food or drink into the stadium.
