Patriot Environmental, LLC, has acquired Transwater, Inc., of Midland, Texas, a water monitoring solution company for the solid waste, oil, mining and gas industries.
Patriot Environmental, a geosynthetic lining materials installer, also primarily serves oil and gas and solid waste industries, according to a press release. Transwater uses piloted boats with sonar to measure freshwater capacity and to produce water pods. It develops sensors to monitor water levels, quality and concentrations.
"We are thrilled to be able to bring the Transwater platform into the Patriot Environmental suite of services," Patriot Environmental President Cody Smithson said in the press release. Coming together as a team, we can bring incredible value and scale to the industries we work in."
Transwater has become an asset to exploration and production companies in the recent past with its innovative products and easy setups, the news release said.
"It all starts with a relatively easy install process that can have live data feeds to our client's PC, tablet or cell phone in just a couple of business days," Transwater Founder and President Randy Smith said in the press release.
It provides remote monitoring for the chemical analysis in fresh water. It also gives affordable water technology "to mitigate risk and give accurate data," the company said. The technology Transwater offers can let users access the data remotely and on-demand as well.
"Transwater has a great group of clients who are constantly striving to ensure they maintain and protect their critical water assets," Smith said in the press release. "We developed our customer base by listening to their industry needs and then creating and implementing products that give our customers peace of mind. We are excited to grow our client base and continue to develop innovative technologies as a part of Patriot Environmental."
