The Midland Bulldogs were well represented at the District 2-6A swimming and diving meet on Jan. 25, with senior Jake Shelton and sophomore Hannah Krueger posting meet records and also winning a pair of events.

Midland takes early lead, but falls 35-7 to undefeated Byron Nelson in area round of playoffs
The Midland Bulldogs (9-3, 3-2) jumped out to an early lead in the area round of the Conference 6A Division 2 football tournament against undefeated Trophy Club Byron Nelson (12-0, 7-0), but the Bobcats woke up and scored five unanswered touchdowns to win 35-7 on Nov. 17.
