A private equity firm based in Houston, specializing in energy services and equipment investments, has announced a significant investment in a Midland-based pressure pumping services company.
According to a news release, Voyager Interests, LLC has made a majority investment in Tejas Completion Services, LLC. Details related to the financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Voyager’s subsidiary, VooDoo Energy Services, which operates primarily in the Haynesville Shale, will be merged into Tejas as part of this transaction.
Tejas offers specialty pumping and complementary services, including acid and completion chemicals, mixing plant services, and thru-tubing services. The company operates approximately 50 pumping units and is recognized as America's largest independent specialty pumping company.
Tejas Chief Operating Officer Cody Trebing said the Voyager partnership will allow the company to invest in its service lines, equipment fleet, and personnel growth. "These investments ensure we continue delivering the safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction our clients expect," added Trebing. "We also look forward to welcoming the VooDoo team and integrating their business into Tejas as we build on our reputation for industry-leading service and performance."
