The City of Midland has announced that the Midland Police Department (MPD) will be actively seeking individuals with outstanding citations or traffic tickets from March 3 to 7. This initiative is part of the city's 2025 Compliance Drive, as reported in a Facebook post.
According to the city, this drive offers three options for individuals to clear their warrants. A February 26 Facebook post said that while police officers will be searching for those with active warrants, people still have the opportunity to voluntarily visit the municipal court at 201 E. Texas Ave. and address their cases.
Citizens can also log on to midlandmunicipalcourt.com or mail their payment to the City of Midland, P.O. Box 1152, Midland, TX 79702. The city emphasized that those opting for traditional mail should include their contact information to ensure proper credit and noted that warrants will remain active until payment is received and processed by the municipal court.
A previous press release from the city described the municipal court as a "Safe Harbor Court," allowing individuals to appear at any time to resolve their outstanding cases without fear of arrest. For additional citation information, residents are encouraged to contact the court at (432) 685-7308 or (432) 685-7314.
