A local oil and natural gas exploration and production company has announced the hiring of Houston-based law firm Christian Attar.
Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, Inc., which operates in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, has engaged Christian Attar to investigate potential violations of the Administrative Procedures Act. According to a news release, founding partner James "Wes" Christian will collaborate with the firm to explore any claims related to harassment and business disparagement.
According to the news release, Next Bridge is aware of shareholder ledger imbalances at several brokerage firms, totaling amounts exceeding an aggregate $2.65 million share short interest position in company stock overseen by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Despite engaging with regulators for two years to examine these imbalances, Next Bridge has yet to determine their cause.
Chairman and CEO Greg McCabe said that Wes Christian is an experienced attorney who understands the business well and assists their advisory team in uncovering the truth. "We will not stand by as nefarious actors with hidden agendas spread misinformation regarding our Company, our business activities or our personnel," McCabe said. "Our patient and loyal shareholders deserve us to protect the integrity of both Next Bridge and their investment in it, and I want to truly thank once again our online community, the MMTLP ARMY, for their long-standing support and steadfast dedication."
