The Midland Chamber of Commerce opened applications for the 2025–26 classes of its Leadership Midland and LEAD programs. Applications are being accepted through May 3 at 5 p.m.

Leadership Midland and LEAD are designed to equip participants with leadership skills and foster civic engagement. “Leadership Midland and LEAD are the perfect next steps for those seeking leadership tools to create lasting positive change in their businesses, organizations, community, and the lives of others,” said Evan Thomas, Chamber President and CEO.

Leadership Midland has more than 1,400 alumni and offers a deep dive into regional issues through sessions on government, education, healthcare, and economic development. The program is geared toward professionals seeking to expand leadership capacity and community involvement.

LEAD (Learn, Empower, Apply, Develop) is entering its second year and focuses on communication, influence, and self-discovery for emerging leaders. “The Midland Chamber’s LEAD program has not only helped me grow my own leadership skill but has also strengthened the skills of those around me,” said participant Gabi Perales Franks.

Both programs run one day per month from September 2025 through May 2026. For more information or to apply, visit midlandtxchamber.com.
