A $150,000 exterior renovation for a building at a local shopping mall is set to begin in May, as said in a filing with a state regulatory agency.

According to the March 31 filing, the renovation will take place outside building six of the Cornerstone Shopping Center. The work will include asphalt sidewalks and the enclosure of part of the covered walkway. The project is scheduled to start on May 19 and finish by September 19.

Matt Gordon, from Houston-based Gordon Partners, is overseeing the project through the subsidiary Gordon Cornerstone Partners, LP. The mall is situated at 4400 Midland Drive. The architectural aspects of the makeover were handled by the local design firm Cornerstone Design Group.

According to Gordon Partners’ website, the company has been operational since 2006. Its portfolio comprises over 1 million square feet of retail shopping centers across Texas and Louisiana. The firm hosts over 400 tenants, including national brands such as Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, United Supermarkets, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, and Whataburger.
