The 8th Annual Bowling for Fur-Babes, benefiting Grand Companions, takes place Feb. 22 at Diamond Lanes in Odessa. The event features bowling, prizes, and fundraising to support animal rescue efforts.
Check-in begins at 10 a.m., and bowling starts at 10:30 a.m, according to Leslie McElroy, Community Outreach Coordinator. The 9-pin no-tap, individual three-game series costs $30 per person. Early registration, available through Feb. 20, includes a T-shirt and preferred lane assignment.
Attendees can participate in an auction and raffle to support Grand Companions. The Towel Raffle collects new or used full-size bath towels for rescued animals, with each donation earning an entry to win a Granitestone Diamond Pro 13-piece cook-set valued at $360.
An online auction and a Buy It Now table will offer items for direct purchase at the event.
