The Midland County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) assisted the Kern County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) from Bakersfield, California, in locating a homicide suspect on January 21.
According to a January 23 Facebook post by MCSO, both sheriff's offices were aided by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in finding the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Michael Anthony McClintock.
Authorities located McClintock in the 4200 block of SCR 1140 in Midland County. The MCSO SWAT team subsequently took McClintock into custody without incident.
The suspect was transported to the Midland County Central Detention Center, where he was booked on a fugitive from justice warrant and was awaiting jurisdiction at press time, according to MCSO.
