Students on track to graduate high school this semester can begin applying for scholarships.
The Midland Education Foundation announced the opening of scholarship applications in a social media post. "Parents, Educators, Counselors! 2025 Scholarship applications are now OPEN to graduating seniors," the foundation wrote. "The Midland Education Foundation is proud to support Midland ISD students by administering these funds and promoting excellence in education. #studentexperience"
According to the Midland Independent School District (MISD) website, the foundation exists to aid graduating seniors with their endeavors once they leave the district. Students can apply for the scholarships on the district’s website.
The deadline to apply for scholarships is April 1, according to the MISD website. Recipients of scholarships will be notified by their school counselor or the scholarship representative by May 1, and funds will be payable to the institution of higher learning that students attend.
