Midland - Roberto Acosta Madrid, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Known as "Beto" to family and friends, he proudly served in the United States Army and was a long-time employee of Midland ISD. Beto was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and shared his love of music with his family.

He is survived by his children Jose Alberto, Adrian, Jaime, Gabriel, and Patricia, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roberto was preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings, and grandsons Felipe and Andres.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Willowbrook Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine Catholic Church, followed by Columbarium Inurnment services at Resthaven Memorial Park.
