Midland College is promoting an innovative co-enrollment program that offers a pathway for students interested in pursuing an engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
The school wrote on Facebook: "Texas A&M-Concho Engineering Academy at Midland College is hosting an APPLICATION WORKSHOP! This is your chance to become an Aggie from day one, right here on the MC campus!"
According to the registration form, the workshop will be held at the school’s F. Marie Hall Academic Building Room 101 on December 10 at 6 p.m. Students admitted to the academy are Texas A&M University students co-enrolled at both the Texas A&M College of Engineering and Midland College.
Midland College states that the event will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about this joint engineering venture between the schools. Staff will also be available to assist interested students with applications and pre-qualification questions. Students can spend a minimum of one year or a maximum of two years co-enrolled at Midland College before transitioning full-time to Texas A&M University to complete their degree.
