A Columbus, Ohio-based developer has proposed the construction of a 248-unit apartment complex.

According to an announcement made during a November 18 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission, The Woda Group LLC plans to develop Wolcott Apartments under its subsidiary, Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. The multifamily project is expected to encompass 124,220 square feet and include a clubhouse and an amenity center.

The proposed unit mix will consist of 32 one-bedroom, one-bath units; 58 two-bedroom, two-bath units; and 58 three-bedroom, two-bath units.

The development will take place on a 6.7-acre undeveloped property located at the southwest corner of Wolcott Avenue and Camp Street. The site is set to transition from regional retail (RR) zoning to multiple family (MF-22) zoning when the City Council addresses the item in an upcoming vote.
