United Way of Midland to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Training and Conference Center on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. The event takes place at 1209 W. Wall St.
The new state-of-the-art facility serves as a hub for training programs, workshops, seminars, and community events, according to Kari Hennagin, Executive Director of United Way of Midland, during an interview with Midland Times.
“This new center provides much-needed space for collaboration, skill development, and networking,” Hennagin says in a press release. “We are thrilled to take this next step in furthering our mission to improve lives and strengthen our community.”
The project is made possible through contributions from local businesses, individuals, and foundations, along with support from the City of Midland and other partners. The facility is expected to open in Fall 2025, enhancing United Way of Midland’s role as a resource for nonprofit training and professional development in the region.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate this new chapter for United Way of Midland. Light refreshments are served.
