The Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's, the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care and research, will return to the Permian Basin on Oct. 26. The event will start at 9 a.m. at the Scharbauer Sports Complex.
According to the Alzheimer’s Association website, donations will support Alzheimer's research to find treatments and a cure. While there is no registration fee, all participants are encouraged to raise money for the event.
Registration is open to all ages. Dogs are welcome to walk but must remain on a leash.
The event is in need of volunteers. Those interested in volunteering can apply through the Alzheimer’s Association website.
