A new McDonald's restaurant is planned to be built across from the West Early Childhood Center, as indicated by a filing with a state regulatory agency.
According to the filing, the project is tentatively titled "McDonald's Midland (42-3497)" and will encompass 4,406 square feet. The $750,000 establishment will feature a dual-lane drive-thru located behind the main building.
The construction timeline is expected to commence on January 13, 2025, and conclude by May 30, 2025. Alex Breeden, an area construction manager with McDonald's, is leading the project. Houston-based architects Castles Design Group are part of the project team.
Breeden's LinkedIn profile states that she is based in Phoenix, Arizona and has served as an area construction manager since January 2022. Before this role, she was a supplier lead and supply chain specialist for McDonald's. She has been with the company for over nine years.
Currently, there are four McDonald's locations in the Midland area, according to the company's website.
