Midland’s 35th annual Texas Size Garage Sale returns for a four-day event to support Senior Life Midland’s Meals On Wheels Program. Volunteers have spent the past year collecting, sorting, and pricing items for the sale. The event will take place in a 25,000-square-foot warehouse at 407 E. Scharbauer Dr., and will offer antiques, sporting equipment, clothing, and more. All proceeds will go directly to fund the Meals On Wheels Program, which delivers meals to homebound seniors in the community.

Senior Life Midland helps seniors in Midland County through essential services, including Meals On Wheels, Meals On Wheels for Paws, the Handyman Program, and One Day At A Time. The Meals On Wheels program began in 1974, and delivers around 10,000 meals each month to homebound seniors who face hunger and malnutrition.
Funds from the Texas Size Garage Sale are an important source of support for the program, covering one-third of the meals delivered annually. Senior Life Midland offers daily safety checks for Seniors, and provides care to help them remain independent and secure in their homes.
