Odessa - Vanessa Walters, born on August 19, 1991, in Odessa, TX, passed away on September 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication to helping others. A devoted mother to her daughters Zarinatie Kinney and Kelly Herrmann, Vanessa was known for her lively personality, love for motorcycles, and commitment to supporting her community. She worked as a Safety Technician at Standard Safety and Supply and was deeply involved in fostering and caring for dogs. Vanessa's selfless act of organ donation helped save six lives, a testament to her caring nature.

She is survived by her parents, Martin and Karen Walters, siblings, nieces, nephews, and her newly adopted daughter, Daniella Meierhoff. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4th at Zion Christian Church in Odessa, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the STA foundation. Vanessa will be fondly remembered for her laughter, loyalty, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
