Born on September 16, 1962, in Tucumcari, New Mexico, to Kenneth Moran Fisher and Patricia Louise Fisher, Bruce's vivacious personality and intelligence were evident from a young age. He excelled in sports and academics, and his strong faith was a guiding light throughout his life.
Bruce's career spanned across various states, from working as a draftsman to becoming a surveyor, with stints in places like Colorado, Florida, Illinois, and Alaska. In 2015, he returned to his roots in Midland, Texas, immersing himself in family businesses and reigniting his passion for painting. Bruce was known for his friendly nature and ability to strike up conversations with anyone, reflecting his love for people and travel.
Survived by his son Collin Miller, mother Patricia Louise Fisher, siblings, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, Bruce's love and pride for his family shone through in his actions and words. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Moran Fisher, and his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Bruce Fisher are appreciated. The family expresses gratitude to Midland paramedics and police responders for their care and compassion.
