Raquel Castro Polson, age 51, of Stanton, TX, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Born on August 12, 1972, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Helen Floyd and John Castro, Raquel graduated from Stanton High School in 1990 and married Dennis Polson on February 13, 1994. She cherished helping others, fishing, crafting, photography, dancing, and spending time with loved ones.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the same church.

Raquel is survived by her husband Dennis Polson, sons Taylor and Dillon Polson, mother Helen Floyd (husband Lovelle Floyd), father John Castro, brothers Luis, Nathan (wife Natalie), Carlos Herrera, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Castro, maternal and paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Grand Companions pet rescue/adoption in Midland and Fort Davis or Martin County Animal Advocates.
