Bettye Vivian Hoover, aged 80, of Midland, TX, peacefully passed away on June 16, 2024, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Born on June 27, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas, to Cap and Maudie Mae Wadkins, Bettye was a compassionate woman whose life was defined by love, service, and unwavering faith.

Bettye married Edward Clayton Hoover on January 11, 2020, at Ranchland Heights Baptist Church in Midland, exhibiting a life filled with devotion and faith. She is survived by four children, fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three brothers.

Known for her commitment to her faith, Bettye was an active member of Ranchland Heights Baptist Church. Her missionary work in South America, crisis intervention volunteering, and prison ministry showcased her deep passion for helping others. Bettye's dedication to spreading the love of Christ through acts of service, including Vacation Bible School, impacted many.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Ranchland Heights Baptist Church in Midland, with Pastor Phillip Rutledge officiating.

Bettye Vivian Hoover will be remembered as a loving and caring individual, whose legacy of kindness, compassion, and faith will be forever cherished by those whose lives she touched. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.
