An American chain of convenience stores based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that operates in the Midwestern, Southern, and Western United States is bringing a store to the city.

According to a filing with a state regulatory agency, the Irving office of QuikTrip Corporation, led by Civil Project Manager Craig Honeywell, is leading the development of the $1.25 million QuikTrip #7911.

Phoenix-based architect Daniel D. Filuk is on board the project team.

According to QuikTrip’s website, there are currently no locations of the store in Midland. Established in 1958, the company is worth $11 billion with over 1,000 stores in 17 states and over 31,000 employees. In 2002, Chet Cadieux, son of company founder Chester Cadieux, became president of QuikTrip.
