The Midland Fire Department (MFD) battled a travel trailer fire in the 4100 block of South County Road (SCR) 1201 on the morning of July 14. The blaze broke out at approximately 8:45 a.m.
According to a press release issued by the city of Midland, when firefighters arrived at the scene, they found two travel trailers engulfed in flames.
MFD deemed both trailers a total loss, as stated in the release.
The release also indicated that a third trailer took on substantial damage because of radiant heat.
The release reported that the inferno yielded no injuries.
One of the trailer renters is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
According to MFD, an electrical issue prompted the fire, as mentioned in the release.
