Midland Crime Stoppers has offered a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a 54-year-old man wanted for murder. Wilburt Ray Davis is accused of killing 34-year-old Kendra Vollmers last month.
According to a Crime Stoppers June 6 Facebook post, Davis stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 305 pounds. The post also stated that the suspect is known to be armed and extremely dangerous.
The Midland Times reported that the Midland Police Department (MPD) issued a warrant for Davis's apprehension on May 22. Citing Permian Basin stations KMID and KPEJ, the publication reported that authorities believe the suspect fatally strangled Vollmers at a home in the 4400 block of Parkdale Drive.
