Fair to Midland, a popular 21+ establishment known for its lively events and vibrant atmosphere, will host its Free Crawfish Boil this Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at 1115 Tradewinds Boulevard. The event promises a festive celebration for Memorial Day weekend with various activities, including a large selection of draft beers, cocktails, a giant slide, and carnival-style games. Admission is free, and the crawfish is served on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The goal of this event is to offer a spot for those in town without plans for Memorial Day Weekend,” said Bri Domowitz, events/marketing and social media manager of KPG Hospitality. “We've got indoor or outdoor space to celebrate the long weekend with a little bit of everything: good food, drinks, games, a giant slide, and adult fun!”

Domowitz anticipates a strong turnout, citing the success of previous crawfish boils which have consistently drawn large crowds. With over 200 pounds of crawfish ready to be served, the event is set to be a highlight of the weekend.

Since opening in November 2021, Fair to Midland has established itself as a hub for community events. "Our partners saw the potential for a unique opportunity and experience with the fast growth of the Permian Basin," Domowitz said. During football season, the venue has hosted numerous free crawfish boils, seafood boils, and BBQ Sundays. It also features dog-friendly Yappy Hours, cornhole and Pop-A-Shot tournaments, the Permian Basin Chili Cook-Off, and live music events.

Fair to Midland also enjoys a partnership with the Midland Rockhounds, serving as the go-to post-game hangout for every home game. “Over the years we have provided memorable experiences for local residents, commuting visitors, and tourists of the Midland area,” Domowitz said. “We've become a staple for many to celebrate birthdays, happy hours, holiday parties, get-togethers, and more.”

The establishment prides itself on staying ahead of trends in events and cocktails, always open to collaborations with local businesses and individuals. “We ultimately want to be at the top of the list when thinking of spots for upcoming events or nights out!” Domowitz said. “Our goal is to create a lasting impression for guests to continue to visit Fair to Midland and a reminder that we always have new and fun events happening.”

Fair to Midland’s Free Crawfish Boil promises to be an exciting and memorable way to celebrate Memorial Day weekend, offering a perfect blend of food, fun, and community spirit.
