Safe Place of the Permian Basin, a non-profit organization based in Midland, is collaborating with Kendra Scott for a Mother's Day themed sale. The event, named Kendra Gives Back, will take place at the Kendra Scott store at Commons at North Park on May 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to an April 25 Facebook post by Safe Place of the Permian Basin, the sale aims to raise awareness and funds for survivors of domestic violence. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Safe Place.
Kendra Scott's website details that the Kendra Gives Back sales are integral to the jeweler's business model. To date, over $50 million has been donated to local, national, and international causes that support women and children in areas such as health and wellness, education and entrepreneurship, and empowerment.
