The Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP) announced the addition of Civitas Resources as its newest member in a release. Civitas Resources joins as the 29th member of the PSP’s group of contributing members.

“Civitas is proud to partner with the Permian Strategic Partnership to ensure the communities where we operate are premier places to work and live,” said Civitas President and CEO Chris Doyle. “By joining the PSP, we are actively shaping the future of our region. Our goal is to build a sustainable future in all the areas we operate, including the Permian Basin.”

According to the PSP website, the 29 member companies, including thousands of employees residing and working in the Permian Basin, prioritize safe and environmentally responsible operations. Members are prepared to engage in discussions and decisions aimed at enhancing the region's quality of life for future generations.

"We look forward to working with the Civitas team to continue to strengthen our region through expanding access to high-quality education, healthcare, workforce development, and infrastructure," said CEO of the PSP Tracee Bentley in the release.

Since 2019, the PSP has maintained a focus on the Permian Basin and has committed over $160 million in member company contributions through public-private partnerships. These investments have leveraged more than $1.5 billion in transformative endeavors, impacting the region's public schools, healthcare systems, road safety infrastructure, and workforce development opportunities. The PSP has nearly doubled in size and expanded its impact across Southeast New Mexico and West Texas through collaboration with federal, state, and local leaders, according to the release.
