Midland College slated to host job fair in April

Midland College has disclosed the schedule for its upcoming career fair, an event organized by the Midland College Career and Transfer Center. The fair is set to occur on April 18 at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

According to a news release from Midland College, the event will be open to both students and the general public. It aims to provide a platform for individuals interested in engaging and networking with professionals from various industries in the Permian Basin, including hospitality, government, automotive, insurance, protective services education, health care, oil and gas.

"The Midland College Career Fair is a great opportunity for our students and community members to network with companies and provide businesses with access to local prospective talent," said Frank De La O, Vice President of Student Services at Midland College.

The news release further indicated that both employers and job seekers wishing to participate in the event must complete a registration form. Among the employers already confirmed for attendance are IDEA Public Schools; Midland ISD; Texas Department of Family and Protective Services; University Medical Center; Midland Country Club; Oxy (Chemicals/Direct Air Capture); Milestone Environmental Services; Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers; West Texas National Bank; City of Big Spring; United Rentals; Expanse Electrical Co., and Midland County among others.
