The Midland Health Department is set to host a Health Fair on April 6  from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Beal Ranch House, located at 5200 West Wall St. This event aims to provide an array of resources and activities aimed towards promoting wellness and fostering community connections.

According to a release, the Health Fair promises to be an enriching experience, offering attendees resources and activities focused on prioritizing health and well-being. Participants can expect a range of offerings, including games, community resources, and live demonstrations.

Key highlights of the event include:

Free blood pressure checks: Certified healthcare professionals will be available on-site to administer complimentary blood pressure screenings, allowing attendees to monitor their cardiovascular health.

Raffle prizes: Attendees will have the chance to enter raffle draws for exciting prizes, such as a RockHounds swag bag containing 20 free game tickets.

CPR demonstrations: Qualified instructors will conduct CPR demonstrations, providing attendees with life-saving techniques and empowering them with essential skills for emergency situations.

Physical fitness demonstrations: Dynamic physical fitness activities and demonstrations will be available to promote the benefits of regular exercise and an active lifestyle.

Free STI testing: The Health Fair will offer free STI testing, ensuring individuals have access to essential healthcare services in a confidential environment.
