Stephanie Rivas, the General Manager of Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center, recently took to Facebook to promote an exciting upcoming event at the center. On September 20th, the center will be hosting a live performance of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, accompanied by a live orchestra and scratch DJ. Rivas encouraged locals to "bring the family" and enjoy this unique version of the popular film.

The event, according to the Wagner Noël PAC website, is scheduled for 7:30pm and offers regular ticket prices ranging from $39 to $64. However, there are discounted ticket options available for students and families. Students can purchase tickets for $25, while families of four can enjoy the show for just $100.

During the screening, a live band and scratch DJ will provide a musical backdrop, playing music from the film's score and soundtrack. In addition, the Broadway Sinfonietta, an all-female orchestra, will be accompanying the film. The talented conductor Emily Marshall has been leading the musicians on this tour.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, released in December 2018, was highly acclaimed and well-received. As the first animated film in the Spider-Man series, it garnered a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes, 87/100 on Metacritic, and an A+ on CinemaScore. Composer Daniel Pemberton curated a contemporary score for the film, featuring artists like Jayden Smith, Nicki Minaj, and Post Malone, which perfectly captured the life of the film's teenage protagonist in New York City.
