Casey Hopkins of Midland finished 20,376th in the United States Tennis Association’s Girls’ 12 bracket in the week ending Nov. 12.

They earned no points to finish the week with 32 single points.

Players earn points per round in tournaments, winning higher points the further into a tournament they advance.

Jarett Cascino of New York Tennis Magazine says tennis is one of the most competitive youth sports.
