Midland tennis player Michael Hernandez ranks in Boys’ 12 bonus points bracket in week ending May 21

Michael Hernandez of Midland finished 654th in the United States Tennis Association’s Boys’ 12 bracket in the week ending May 21.

They have zero bonus points having earned zero in the last week.

Their ranking fell by 18 from the week before.

Players earn points per round in tournaments, winning higher points the further into a tournament they advance.

Jarett Cascino of New York Tennis Magazine says tennis is one of the most competitive youth sports.
