The Midland RockHounds have issued a call for performers to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at their home games during the 2025 season.

According to a March 3 Facebook post by the RockHounds, the team is seeking singers, groups, and instrumentalists to perform at Momentum Bank Ballpark. Interested individuals can apply through milb.com/midland/forms/national-anthem-app.

In addition to completing an application, the team said that performers or parents of applicants under 18 must submit an audio or digital file of a national anthem performance. Inquiries can be directed to Rylee Darnell at rdarnell@midlandrockhounds.org.

The upcoming 2025 season will mark the franchise's 53rd year. According to a previous press release from the team, Midland set an all-time franchise record with 84 games and won the Texas League’s South Division in 2024. The RockHounds are scheduled to open the season against the Arkansas Travelers from April 4 to 6.
