The Midland Development Corporation (MDC) recently swore in Garrett Donnelly and J. Ross Lacy as new members of its board of directors.

According to a February 10 Facebook post from the MDC, the Midland City Council appointed Donnelly and Lacy to the corporation a few weeks ago.

Donnelly is the vice president of Eastland International Resources, according to LinkedIn. He is an alumnus of both Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business and the University of Colorado. Lacy, educated in the Permian Basin and a former Midland city council member, is the Director of Development at Hilliard Energy. He was also a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives.

The MDC is governed by a seven-member board that commits to serving three-year terms. Each board member brings expertise to the organization that is valuable, according to the post.
