A dormant building in the central portion of the city is set to undergo a $450,000 transformation into a Mexican-themed seafood restaurant and bar.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) revealed that George Sosa, with Sosa One LLC, will lead the project named El Sinaloense. The endeavor involves remodeling the 3,672 square-foot building under the working name "El Sinaloense Mariscos & Bar LLC."
According to TDLR, the building is located at 103 S. A St. Construction is expected to commence on February 1 and conclude by June 1. A design firm for the project was not mentioned in the filing.
Loopnet.com reports that the building spans 0.22 acres and previously functioned as a bar and restaurant. Constructed in 1948 and renovated in 2012, it includes open space, a kitchen, restrooms, and an office.
