Midland, Texas - Marilyn Elaine Adamson, 92, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Midland. Born on May 24, 1932, in Toronto, Kansas, Marilyn led a life full of love and strength. She married Emmet G. Adamson in 1951 and embarked on a journey to West Texas, exemplifying the pioneering spirit of American life.

Active in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Marilyn devoted herself to her church family, teaching Sunday School, participating in missions, and embodying love and dedication. Known for her warmth and nurturing spirit, Marilyn raised three children and touched the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by her son, Glenn Adamson, daughter Pam Mancha, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Emmet Adamson, daughter Janet Adamson, and daughter-in-law Rhonda Adamson.

The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Vikram Vadyala, Dr. Rebecca James, caregivers Martha Ramirez, and Laura Castillo, and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care. Visitation will take place on December 27, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Ellis Funeral Home, with funeral services on December 28, 2024, at 10:00 am at Life Fellowship. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Jon Adamson, Matthew Mancha, Aaron Burrell, Todd Danley, Stephen Graham, and Jason Gould serving as pallbearers.
