Joining the family-owned Bernard's Tortilla Factory, Mr. Garcia married Maria Garcia in 1991, creating a lifetime of cherished memories together. Remembered for his warm spirit, love of family, and simple pleasures like enjoying strawberry ice cream, Mr. Garcia will be deeply missed. Survived by his wife Maria Garcia, two sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his mother Tomasa Maldonado, father Tranquilino Garcia, and daughter Elizabeth Garcia.
A viewing and prayer service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, Texas, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be conveyed by visiting the Sympathy Store in memory of Elpidio M. Garcia.
