Fredrick Phillips, 79, of Midland, TX, Passes Away

Midland - Fredrick Phillips, 79, passed away on December 7, 2024. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Fred was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a respected professional in the fields of retail management and regional management. His strong work ethic and integrity were evident in all endeavors.

Survived by his daughters, Michelle Cockrell, Danielle Bedingfield, and Amber Shugrue, Fred was a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Phillips, parents Fred and Mary Phillips, and sister Marilyn Embry.

The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Ellis Funeral Home chapel. Graveside services will take place at a later date at Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
