An Odessa-based obstetrician and gynecologist, affiliated with Midland Memorial Hospital and ContinueCare Hospital at Medical Center, is set to open a medical office building. This development was announced by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

Dr. Leela S. Pillarisetty plans to establish a 3,000-square-foot doctor's office with an estimated cost of $275,000, as said by TDLR. The construction is being managed under the entity Lee Legacy Realty LLC.

According to a December 6 filing with TDLR, the project is scheduled to commence on December 9 and aims for completion by December 1, 2025. The site spans 0.35 acres and remains undeveloped at present. It is located at 300 West Longview Avenue, next to a Complex Community Federal Credit Union. Construction Plans 1, a design firm based in Mission in the Rio Grande Valley, contributed to the architectural design of the project.

Pillarisetty's website indicates that he has been practicing in the Permian Basin since 2012 after completing his residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He is also noted as a Da Vinci Robotic surgeon, utilizing advanced instruments for robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery.
