Space at Highland Park Medical Offices is set to undergo renovations for podiatrist operations, as said in a filing with a state regulatory agency.

The Midland County Hospital District, which manages Midland Memorial Health Hospital, is spearheading the project. John Mason, a construction project manager with Midland Health, is overseeing the renovation efforts. The project has been given the working title "2002 W. Ohio – Podiatrist."

According to the filing, the renovation is scheduled to commence on November 18 and aims for completion by January 5, 2025. The $200,000 project will involve interior work on a 1,650 square-foot space located at 2000 W. Ohio Avenue. The Midland County Hospital District board approved the acquisition of a doctor's office in this building in August.

Earlier this month, according to Midland Times, Midland Health was also involved in renovating the Abell Hanger building with an investment of $5.4 million. This project is expected to start in December and includes refurbishing a 22,055-square-foot facility that houses a medical clinic on its first floor and a simulation lab on its second floor.
