The Midland Chamber is seeking public support as it participates in the City Bank Community Rewards program.
A Facebook post dated November 16, attributed to the chamber, states that every vote contributes to its leadership training programs. The voting period is open until December 6.
According to the post, individuals can visit city.bank/communityrewards to cast their votes.
City Bank's website explains that the financial institution allocates $60,000 annually to local charities through Community Rewards. The program aims "to use the power of relationships to help people succeed and live better."
There are six categories from which non-profit organizations can choose: Basic Human Needs, Health & Wellness, Youth Development & Advocacy, Education & Youth Services, Community Contribution & Leadership, and Animal Welfare & Environment. Thirty winners will be announced on December 13.
