Midland Health's Abell Hanger building is scheduled to begin a $5.4 million renovation project in December.
According to a filing with a state regulatory agency, the 22,055-square-foot building and includes a medical clinic on the first floor and a simulation lab on the second floor. The project is expected to start Dec. 2 and conclude by May 29, 2026.
The Midland County Hospital District, which operates Midland Memorial Health Hospital, is developing the project, and John Mason, a construction project manager with Midland Health, is leading the renovation efforts. The local firm JSA Architects Inc. has provided design services for the project.
Located at 200 Andrews Highway, the Abell Hanger building specializes in providing MRI services to patients.
