WalletHub, a personal finance company, released its 2024 Best States to Live In report in August. The report uses 51 indicators to evaluate livability across the 50 states. These indicators are grouped into five categories: affordability, economy, education and health, quality of life, and safety. Each category is equally weighted at 20%.
